Better Days Are Coming by David Materazzi
We might not be rich we might not be poor Happy with what we have but we ask for more
Nothing too expensive nothing too cheap Something for our pockets so we can get some sleep
We need food on our table and gas in our car What we have in the bank won't get us very far
Having each other that's what counts Clipping coupons and getting discounts
Lighting a few candles instead of the lights Not having a heater on those very cold nights
Better days are coming just wait and see I promise you that my family
I wrote this poem a few years ago. Well, I don't have to tell you how things are these days for people. I've never really had it that bad that we never any food or heat. We were in debt so bad. We couldnt pay credit card bills. We paid our rent and bought food. We both worked full time, but we paid what we thought was more important.
(fast forward to today) Well, after all those bad years. We finally got out of that slump. We still have bills but paid up. A house, 2 new cars and etc. My wife has a Tax Preparation business with clients about 50 - 60 a year/ 2 or 3 payroll clients all the time. She works full time. I work full time. (I have the same job for 18 years)
So don't give up. I found out about Zazzle a few weeks ago. I am trying to get pictures and items. I am not relying on checks to help me. It's something to do on the side. I'm hoping to get more sales over time. I also put stuff on Ebay for ourselves and my friend and get some money that.

Yeah. Sounds like our reality over here now. Wish Zazzle would pick up some more, and I'm starting to sell coupons in bulk on my eBay account. Work just doesn't bring in enough money to live off of. Especially with little surprises like the brakes going out on the car, and the radiator! Oh, and our "bed," (an air mattress) no longer holds air. Can't afford an actual bed. Won't always be like this, though.

Don't give up. Life is short but we have to make the best of it. Don't get me wrong, you will never be without bills. My wife's car was totaled about a few months ago. I had only 1 payment to go. We got another one another loan but half of the price of the car was paid by insurance. I have a 2005 Ford Mustang, that I bought back in June 2005. I paid about $ 26,000. Today, I owe about 25 more payments with about $9,980. I put extra on it month after month. I'm praying nothing bad happens to it. Never had a problem with it. We refiance our house to pay off our bills and cut 2 years off our mortage. Still a huge bill every month but no credit card interests. Saved hundreds a month. Country1969 www.zazzle.com/country1969*
