Woman From My Past by David Materazzi
The day she left, I saw the tears in her eye. I felt the pain, As said she goodbye.
I held her in my arms, Gave her one last kiss, Those are the days, That I miss.
Now my life has changed, She is far away. Hoping to find, someone new some day.
Thought there was a chance, that our love would last. But everything has changed, She’s a woman from my past
Note:
This one is about a girl before I met my wife. We played pool and had drinks together at the local bar nearby. She told me one day that we shouldn't get involved in a relationship because she was movin to Florida in about 2 months for a job. Friends was our goal. I wanted to spend as much time we had left together. I guess I fell in love but couldn't let go. Not a real couple but friends but I guess I fell for her when I should've stopped at that one point. The night came that it was our last one together. We were out in the parking lot and said our goodbyes. It was more like a plead to stay for me. I even told her that I loved her and wanted to her to stay. But I lost the case. Our last kiss was the kiss of death for me. I messed up for the longest time. So after get by a few girls out there. That's when I went on AOL and saw this girl's username and that's how I met my wife I have today.
Happy Endings do exist.
