Dan and I just moved into a new apartment earlier today with some friends. We're still getting everything arranged and settling in. Things seem to be going fine so far, except for the fact that we're having some trouble with our two cats getting along. I know how to properly get them to bond, but I don't think anyone really believes me because everyone thinks it will be okay to just throw them together. Hopefully the situation can get sorted through soon. For now, Snowflake is bunking with me. ;D

Hi Jasmine, It's been awhile since we chatted. Been doing other things around the house. My wife (girlfriend) and I lived in an apartment for 5 years back in 1995 to 2000. I didnt mind it at first. 1 bedroon, living room and kitchen. Small bathroom and a small room off to the side. It was on the 2nd floor of a single house. We had this one guy that use to yell at us for walking around and talking. Then we had a mom and daughter about 15 years old that lived there for awhile. The daughter at times used to blast the music loud. But friendly people also. Then a couple moved in after that. But this time, I knew this guy from some of my classes back in high school. We got along great. They would BBQ and invite us down and we had fun. Then they moved out and got an home I believe. Shortly after having our own son, we found a place and moved out quick. I will never go back to renting again.
I love my home. Almost 10 years now we've been here. The house was not in great shape. I just changed the paint on the walls. Added trim around door ways that wasnt there before. Built a built-in wall cabinet on my one kitchen wall for more storage space this past few months. We got a new Central Air Condition/Heat Pump installed with vents throughout the house. The air was great, but the heat pump is not up and running yet. Need to wire it up the a new panel box. I love changing and adding new things to the house when I get a chance to do so. We do have a few rooms upstairs that needs cleaning out from over the years from throwing things into them. The room I'm in right now we call it our office, needs to gone thru and cleaned badly. Boxes and boxes and items all over the place. My son's room is a toy junkyard also. Can't even walk over to the window. I gave up a yelling at him to clean it. The back room has my wife hair and beauty supplies that she collect over the years for having a hair stylist license. She went to school for it on the side. And goes to hair shows at gets lots of free supplies. She cuts all of my family's hair and a few friends these days.
Good luck with the apartment. Someday you will get a house of your own and have more room.
You are still very young. Don't rush into anything too fast. See how your relationship will go and enjoy each other for the the time being. I waited for 7 years before we got married to make sure we were going to last, but after a few I knew. I'm 40 now and I my wife is 37. We get along just fine. We fight at times but it doesnt last long.
I add a few things on Zazzle of the months but not that many. Been seeing more sales lately ,but nothing to quit my day job. Just a few extra bucks to keep going.
Take care David aka Country1969

Thanks. ;D It's nice to hear from you. I can't wait to get our own place. I hate sharing it with other people, and I hate renting as well. Won't be too long before we move out of this place and go somewhere else. Just not sure where yet!
